The app is free to download, it works but is supported with adverts. The app doing this for you by first downloading the tune and then launching the option to set it as ringtone.
When I tried the official mobile website of Zedge which is the beta, there is no option which allows you to save a ringtone because of the limitation in IE which doesn’t not download and lets you set it as ringtone.
They also have categories in the wallpaper section which include Abstract, Comedy, Designs, Holiday, Sports, Technology and so on. There are loads of categories available on Zedge, starting from Alternative, Blues, Bollywood to Reggae, Rock and Sayings. The app has option to take you back and forth between the pages and reload when required. Information about the item like Category, Rating, Tags, Download count, size and zCode is available. For each of the wallpaper and ringtones, you get a download option which works flawlessly. Like I said that the app is not an official app, then don’t be surprised that its actually a wrapper around Zedge mobile website which detects your device type automatically and behaves as per to get you wallpaper and ringtones. I tried it with my Lumia 1020 and it was instantly able to save a ringtone and set it as my ringtone right there. Going strong with 1.1 million fan base on Facebook and 8.2 million collection, there is an app available for Windows Phone which definitely doesn’t look like the official app but it does work nicely when used. Your post will be removed.Zedge is a very popular website when it comes to ringtones and wallpapers for almost every mobile around the world.
